What is Paper.io 2?
Paper.io 2 is one of the most famous territory games of the .io era. You control a small block on a big map. Leave your colored area and you draw a line behind you; return home and every square inside your loop becomes yours. The goal is simple: capture as much of the map as possible and finish top of the lobby.
The catch: while you are outside your area, your tail is exposed. If any rival touches it, you are out.
How to play
- Move with the mouse, the arrow keys or WASD.
- Leave your area to draw a tail, then return to claim the land.
- Cut across other players' tails to eliminate them and grab their territory.
Strategy tips
- Small loops early. Big loops look tempting but leave your tail exposed for too long.
- Watch the nearest rival. Before you leave home, check that no one is close enough to cut you off.
- Attack tails, not bodies. You can only eliminate players by touching their tail when they are outside their land.
- Steal, don't just expand. Looping through an enemy's area takes their land and shrinks their score at the same time.
